The Dakar

South African Rally driver Giniel De Villiers at a press conference held by Toyota to allow media to speak to Giniel and other Toyota drivers after they took part in the Dakar Rally in South America and he placed third overall.Sometimes I feel that the South African public over-estimates certain sportsmen and under-values others, Giniel De Villiers is definitely under-valued, he has won the Dakar and this year placed third overall and hardly a word was spoken about it in mainstream media, this is no small feat and I feel that the entire team did SA proud.

"The Kruger"

It's great to get away every now and then and hide under my favourite rock, in other words go camping in the Kruger. And finally after years of looking, I seen a Leopard in the wild... in fact, I seen three different ones on the same day.

 Probably my favourite frame of this outing, this Baboon seems to have a human quality.

One of the unfortunate things about the area around Skukuza is that any sighting of significance causes a great traffic jam.

Next time I'm going further north.
