A couple of nabbed suspects on a street in Mayfair, Johannesburg. A group of eight armed men stormed a cash and carry store, shot a policeman and a shoot-out ensued, two of the suspects were caught, the rest managed to get away.
Yet another robbery and yet another cop who feels the need to forget about his job and come on over and harass a photographer that is outside the crime-scene area. What I've noticed is that the cops that come harass photographers are not the ones actually doing the job on the street, but the ones that generally sit in a posh office eg: Supt and the likes, that join the scene and expect everyone to simply do what they say regardless.

Its been quiet on the news photography side. It usually is over the Christmas period, but I always know when things will start to happen again, thats when I'm sent to get pics of Grade ones on their first day at school, not my favourite job. But then again there is worse.....JPG)
