Rand Show air display

An Agusta AW109 military helicopter about to pick up an injured pilot during a simulation, whilst a Rooivalk attack helicopter provides cover during the SANDF Capability demonstration in the main arena at the Rand Show in Nasrec, Johannesburg. The annual Rand Show features a large military display area and loads of other attractions for the whole family.

Kgosi Mampuru Prison Gallows

The gallows during a media tour at Kgosi Mampuru II prison in Pretoria, Gauteng. The tour was held in conjunction with the launch of the Gallows Exhumation Project in which the remains of 83 political prisoners that were hanged will be exhumed, identified and handed over to their families.

Miss SA 2016

Newly crowned Miss SA 2016, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene kissed by Miss SA 2015, Liesl Laurie after she won the title at Carnival City in Brakpan near Johannesburg.
