International Trainers from Hooters, Susan Murray from Katy, Texas and Kaylee Farris, from Fortsmith, Arkansas pose at the newest Hooters to open in South Africa. The popular American restaurant, Hooters is opening at Emperors Palace on the 17th February 2012.

The Dakar

South African Rally driver Giniel De Villiers at a press conference held by Toyota to allow media to speak to Giniel and other Toyota drivers after they took part in the Dakar Rally in South America and he placed third overall.

One of the unfortunate things about the area around Skukuza is that any sighting of significance causes a great traffic jam.

21 SAI

The South African Infantry Battalion (21 SAI) held an open day to celebrate the units 35th Birthday, in Doornkop, near Soweto, Johannesburg. The day included a parade, the handover of new facilities and a demonstration of the units urban fighting capabilities.

Black Tuesday

Radio DJ, Jeremy Mansfield and Abed Ahmed encourage cars to hoot in support during a protest in Sandton, Johannesburg. The protesters are against last weeks Parliamentary approval of the Privacy of State Information Bill, which has been dubbed Black Tuesday, and likened by many as a return to the type of government control enforced under apartheid.
