Jukskei flooding

People look at the devastation next to the Jukskei river in Alexandra, Johannesburg, South Africa. The area in the floodline was hit very hard during large scale rains that hit the area.
Some of the residents have built their shacks close to the flood line and are severely affected by hard rains.

A busy day in Braamfontein. #FeesMustFall

The #FeesMustFall protest took a violent turn at Wits University in Johannesburg today. The #FeesMustFall movement demands free higher education and has a big following around the country.
 A protester throws a TV cameras extension cable at security guards during the Fees must fall protest at Wits University. 
There was running battles with police through out the University.
Teargas was used extensively to stop the students regrouping within the University premises.

The students regrouped outside the University and barricaded the main road leading through Braamfontein. There was more running battles, as an outnumbered police tried to disperse them. Further down the road a bus that was driving by was stopped and set on fire.
